THIS ARTIST IS SIMILAR TO JOHANN HAUSER (BELOW) IN MANY WAYS, DUE TO THE WAY IN WHICH HE DRAWS OBJECTS AND CHARACTERS BEING ALMOST CHILD-LIKE BUT THE WORK IS GIVEN A DIFFERENT FEELING BY THE WAY IN WHICH COLOUR IS USED AND APPLIED. WHERE HAUSER USES BOLD BLOCK COLOURS APPLIED THICKLY, KERNBEIS USES MUCH LIGHTER TEXTURES. I LIKE THIS WORK EQUALLY TO HAUSER AND FOR THE SAME REASONS THAT IT IS REALLY EXPRESSIVE AND JUST CAPTURES EXACTLY WHAT IS SEEN WITHOUT THE NEED TO KEEP ON ADDING TO IT...
THIS PICTURE OF THE FIGURES IS MY FAVOURITE BECAUSE IT SHOWS HOW THE ARTIST WORKS AND THE THOUGHT PROCESSES THAT HAVE GONE INTO HIS DRAWINGS
